     I love the story of Pentecost. Here we have a group of men and women hungry for more, but not knowing exactly what they needed. This was me several years ago. And what I love with my awesome God is that He always comes through in ways that totally surpass what I can imagine, or what I think I need. I have loved the Lord for so many years, yet was limiting Him in my life so much. I was starving for more, while still boxing Him in.

      I am so thankful that He finally took control from me and did the remarkable. He took me off the fast track of career and  advancement to set me down until I finally listened to Him.

       I found I wanted Him to be Lord of my every day, and every area of my life. I don’t want to make 1 decision without Him, because all of me is His. I want His will to be dominant in me and my life. I can tell you this is the best thing that has ever happened to me since I was saved. Many think that is too much, too restrictive, no fun, too confining. But the opposite is true. It is the life free of the world’s expectations, so it is a life of total liberty. It is a life that is full of delight, rejoicing, wonder, peace, and assurance. My life is centered on my Redeemer, and therefore His expectations are mine.

     I have been involved with Life Empowered for a few years, but officially became a board member in the summer of 2011. I have taken the position of Regular Program Coordinator. My current direction from God is to share with other woman what living a life of victory is like. I seek to be one of His voices in the wilderness, spreading the news that there is more than a life of defeat and despair. There is a life of victory, holiness, obedience, and rejoicing every day. Christ came to give us the abundant life here, not some day. We can live that life every day, and rejoice in the Lord everyday. We can pray with assurance, and know He hears us. And so much more. The fullness of Christ is available to us, and that is my passion. To go deeper and deeper every day, and help others to as well. I have a passion for prayer, and for God’s Word.
