Janet’s mission is to get you Looking Up! In fact, she prays daily that she will encourage others through her teaching, writing, and speaking. Janet will help you understand what it means to Be Still... as she fills you with help from God's Word, hope from her own stories, and honest humor from her heart.
*What's Janet's message about?
Janet Holm McHenry's message is for any woman who desires to profoundly impact her life and the lives of others with prayer. It is for those who want to learn to pray and for those wanting to strengthen their prayer lives. Janet also shares her experience with Prayer Walking: a way to be still as you seek a stronger relationship with God and strengthen your physical health at the same time. The conference will cover the following topics:

• PrayerWalking: Becoming a Person of Prayer, Strength, and Discipline
• PowerWalking: Finding Strength Through Jesus' Prayers
• PowerPraying: Trusting God for the Impossibles of Your Life

Break out sessions featuring other guest speakers and special activities are also planned.
In addition, it is extremely important to us that you can truly retreat from everyday life. This year's schedule will allow for free time to enjoy Honey Creek Resort's ammenities and to "be still before the Lord".

*Am I in the Right Age Range? Who's This Conference For?
Teen girls and women of all ages are invited and welcome to attend this conference! Whether you are a young teen or a grandmother, we believe you can gain much from attending.
Just a Thought...this conference would be a great opportunity for a mother-daughter or grandmother-granddaughter retreat. It's also perfect for youth groups and women's groups, and we have spacious cabins that are ideal for larger groups.
*How Much Does the Conference Cost?
The women of Life Empowered saw it important that the registration cost was kept low so women of all financial abilities could attend. God has indeed made this possible!
$55 pays for the conference, materials, and lodging for two nights.
$20 covers Honey Creek catered meal plan.
It's important to note that all can come for this price whether you choose a lodge room or a cabin. However, if you choose not to fill a room or cabin to maximum occupancy (For example: you want extra space or have special sleeping arrangement requests), the cost will increase according to the number of people in your lodging option. To determine the price per person, divide the cost of the lodging option chosen by the number staying. Click here to check out available lodging.
*When Does Registration End?
Registration ends April 1, 2012, but earlier registration is advised. In the past all slots have been filled by March! Don't procrastinate or you'll miss an excellent opportunity!
Also, this conference is made possible by a small, but dedicated volunteer staff. When you register early, you allow our volunteers to focus on putting on the best conference possible instead of worrying about and spending all of our time recruiting contracted participant numbers.
